Shadouge

Shadow lay on the couch as he was still staying in Rouge's apartment many thoughts where going through his mind as he lay there motionless.Then. A paper slapped across his face it was Rouge,

"Hello Mr Hangover" she said sitting on the chair oppisite him.

Shadow sat up and turned the Sky News on, Rouge walked to the kitchen and started making breakfast,

"Do you want pancakes?" Rouge asked him

"Um yeh whatever" he replied he seemed engrossed in the report of the day

On the TV
"And people are warned to go the tallest building today and stay on the roof as weather experts have announced a flood coming to town"

Shadow eyes widened he stood up walked to the window millions of people where running up the roads of the city as a wave was following them. Shadow ran and grabbed Rouge and ran outside.

"Shadow whats going on?!" asked Rouge confused he ignored her and ran.

When they came to the tallest building they were the last people there and the doors had locked, Rouge looked behind him and seen the huge wave getting closer. Shadow looked up the side of the building and zoomed up it, Rouge closed her eyes tight and held her head closer to his chest in fear that they might die.

At last they reached the top Sonic and the others were sitting discussing Shadow and Rouge but stopped when they arrived.

"Right" said Sonic "We are getting the top floor of this place to stay while this flood is here, Me and Tails, Cream and Vanilla, Charmy and Vetor, Espio and Knuckles, Amy and Silver and Shadow and Rouge"

They all walked to their rooms, Shadow and Rouge walked into their apartment and seen it was a one bedroom with chairs and no couch.

"Its okay i'll sleep on the floor" offered Shadow

"No you dont have to" said Rouge you can sleep in my room

"Oh thanks" said Shadow smiling slightly.

That night in bed both couldnt sleep but pretended to be asleep, Rouge thinking that Shadow was asleep put her arm around his waist he turned around keeping his eyes closed and felt something on the tip on his nose he opened his eyes and Rouge was staring at him with a sort of happy look. Shadow then put his arm around Rouge's waist and pulled her closer. Rouge put her head on his chest and they both fell asleep in each others arms and thats the way they wanted to stay forever.
